Apartment or Independent Home?

One of the most confusing questions that come in everybody’s mind while considering to buy or lease a house is: ‘Apartment or Independent Home?’ In spite of the fact that some say, an independent home gives you security and flexibility, there are various points of interest when you are going for an apartment instead of a building.

1. Cost Advantage

Living in an apartment can be more cost-effective when compared to an independent home. Independent home comes with an additional space; additional space comes with extra electrical focuses too. More points will increase the usage which will, in turn, increase the power bill.
In the case of apartments, since space is deliberately crushed there would be less number of electrical points compared to an independent house. The lesser the electrical point, the lesser would be the bill. So, if we generally look at the bills of an apartment and an independent house, apartment wins it hands down by saving enough money.

2. Minimum or less maintenance cost

Residential Apartment always makes your stay hassle-free. For example, if you are living in an apartment and facing any problems either with pipes or electrical related works, you can call up the maintenance office, and they will solve your concern by assigning a plumber or an electrician. This isn’t the case with an independent home, you have to search yourself for a plumber or an electrician, and even if you get the chance to contact them, their availability won’t be that simple. This is due to a simple reason, in a flat they are serving mass customers, so they guarantee their availability in speedy time, yet on account of an independent home, they serve just a single customer so, the needs and clients both would be less for them, which isn’t beneficial for the workers.

3. Safer than a house

One of the most critical and relevant factors in the present situation is safety. Majority of the flats guarantee a day in and day out security, and many apartments today come with CCTV facility, too. Additionally, if anybody wants to get inside an apartment, they will have to sign at the reception and the security personnel ensures that whoever comes into the flat has a reason to come in, while in case of an independent home, we don’t have these security parameters. The apartment is highly secured from the main gate till your doorstep.

4. Basic Amenities

Unlike houses, apartment complexes are generally built with specific amenities such as pools, gyms, convenience stores and laundry facilities directly on the premises or at least, in very close proximity. Although you could always have these elements built into your home, the financial obligation is not as rewarding. Apartment living can prove to be a very convenient living arrangement.
Likewise, a large portion of the complexes or township offers a gathering region where you can conduct birthday parties or any particular occasion with a small crowd, which in the case of an independent house, it has to be done by booking a party hall or in a hotel or any clubs which will be an extra expense.

5. Low responsibility

When we look at the rented flats, for the most part, offer lower rents compared to an independent home, which, in reality, assists you with extra money saving. Also, an independent home with some amenities will be 3 times higher the cost compared to flats. If you go for a home loan, flats give fewer burdens compared to an independent home.
